  • 1 24oz jar of pasta sauce
  • 1 cup cashews
  • 3 tbsp nutritional yeast
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tbsp oregano
  • 16oz of uncooked Rigatoni pasta (we love Banza chickpea pasta)


  1. Soak cashews in boiling water for 5-10 minutes
  2. Add cashews to a high speed blender with nutritional yeast, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and water. Blend until smooth
  3. Bring a large stock pot of water to a boil and add your pasta. Cook al dente
  4. In a large sauce pan over low heat, add the tomato sauce and oregano. Add the cashew cream.
  5. Add cooked pasta to the sauce pan and mix well
