Ingredients
- 1 24oz jar of pasta sauce
- 1 cup cashews
- 3 tbsp nutritional yeast
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 cup water
- 1 tbsp oregano
- 16oz of uncooked Rigatoni pasta (we love Banza chickpea pasta)
Instructions
- Soak cashews in boiling water for 5-10 minutes
- Add cashews to a high speed blender with nutritional yeast, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and water. Blend until smooth
- Bring a large stock pot of water to a boil and add your pasta. Cook al dente
- In a large sauce pan over low heat, add the tomato sauce and oregano. Add the cashew cream.
- Add cooked pasta to the sauce pan and mix well
